Due to good feedback last semester, MIREVI brought back the workshop on Projection Mapping for students from the faculties of media and design. Students received a short theoretical introduction to what projection mapping is, how it works and how it can be used.

A real life examples: An aquarium, mapped on furniture.

After seeing some digital and real-life examples, including the presentation that was mapped on part of the building, students were invited to map a projection themselves. Using Resolume Arena and architectural features of the university building, they worked in teams to bring their ideas to life.

Several different surfaces were available to be mapped: Concrete columns, white ceilings and refelctive plastic surfaces.
