Named after the Soviet research vessel exploring the ocean’s depths, Witjas is a collaboration between artist Daniel Nehring and MIREVI. The model, morphs and textures were created by Daniel Nehring while MIREVI supported the character animation through motion capture and editing. Additionally, we provided Hardware for the rendering process.
The final result is presented as part of Take a Bow: Every evening starting at 8pm, the screen at the Kö-Bogen II/Shadowstraße presents digital art in the city center. “Witjas” is presented daily and free of charge until the 31 august 2025.
